Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient having the sign and symptoms of Ardhavabhedaka as mentioned in the literature. 2. Having recurrent attack of hemicranial headache. 3. With or without nausea, vomiting, aura. 4. Patient between age group of 20 - 50 yrs. 5. Patient suitable for Virechana and Nasya Karma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age group less than 20 and more than 50 yrs. 2. Patients suffering from any other types of Headaches. 3. Patients unsuitable for Virechana and Nasya Karma as mentioned in Ayurvedic reference books. 4. Patients having history of Head Trauma. 5. Pregnant women and Lactating mothers. 6. Patients suffering from any chronic illness.

MeasureTime frame
Virechana Karma may show better results on Pain in Ardhavabhedaka in comparison to Brihat Dashmoola Taila Nasya. Timepoint: 28 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Virechana Karma may have better results on Frequency of headache, Duration of headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Aura, Vertigo in Ardhavabhedaka in comparison to Brihat Dashmoola Taila Nasya. Timepoint: 28 days
