Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The amount of desflurane used between MAC guided and entropy guided groups   Timepoint:  At the end of surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
cognitive dysfunction in the two groups using Mini Mental State Examination scaleTimepoint: 1 day after surgery;Emergence agitation between the groupsTimepoint: At the end of surgery;Heart rate and Blood pressure during surgeryTimepoint: every 10 minutes during surgery;Mean end-tidal desflurane concentration Timepoint: at the end of surgery;Recall between the groups using Michigan awareness scale Timepoint: 1 day after surgery;Time of awakening Timepoint: at the end of surgery
