Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients willing to take part in the study. 2. Patients with more than 20 natural teeth. 3. Patients having a periodontal pocket with probing depth >=5 mm. 4. Clinical attachment level (CAL) >=4 mm. 5. Patients with radiographic evidence of bone loss

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who had undergone regenerative periodontal therapy, bisphosphonate, or anti-resorptive drug therapy six months before the initial examination. 2. Patients having systemic diseases like diabetes mellitus, hypertension, bleeding disorders, hyperparathyroidism, and compromised medical conditions. 3. Patients allergic to materials and drugs used or prescribed in this study. 4. Pregnant women and lactating mothers. 5. Patients who have had periodontal treatment in the last six months. 6. Patients with the use of tobacco or tobacco-related products. 7. Patientsâ?? medical or dental therapy that could have an impact on the subjectâ??s ability to complete the study.
