Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patient with fair oral hygiene 2. patient undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment 3. patient having permanent dentition 4. no history of antibiotics, steroids, NSAID in past two months 5. habit of brushing twice daily.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of any local or systemic disease or immunosuppressant drug therapy. 2. Using antibacterial mouth rinse or chewing gums to be used in last week and during the study. 3. Use of antibiotics, steroids, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) therapy within the past two months or during the study 4. mentally handicapped subjects. 5. Subjects with poor manual dexterity. 6. Poor compliance subjects. 7. Smoking, tobacco products consumption.
