Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with diagnosis of Chronic kidney disease (CKD) not on dialysis, visiting Nephrology OPD at Dr.RMLIMS 2. Period of OPD follow-up > 6 months in the Dept of Nephrology 3. At least one dietician visit in the last year All three must be fulfilled for inclusion in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Not providing informed consent 2. Intervening hospitalization in the last 3 months (which might change dietary patterns) 3. Mental retardation and/or other alterations in behaviour/sensorium due to which the patient is caregiver dependent (such as uremic encephalopathy, cerebrovascular accidents and dementia, etc) 4. Gastrointestinal disturbances precluding usual diet intake
