Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. belonging to ASA I and II 2. posted for elective surgery 3. fasted overnight
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. who refuse to participate in the study 2. children with gastro-intestinal disease (GERD, Hiatus hernia, gastritis) 3.any major co-existing medical or congenital disorder 4. undergoing emergency surgery 5.violation of fasting timed 6. Refusing to drink clear fluid according to protocol
