Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All Antenatal women in their first trimester of pregnancy less than 12 weeks of gestation visiting KLEâ??s Prabhakar Kore Charitable Hospital and Medical Research Centre

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre Gestational Diabetes Mellitus 2. Chronic Hypertension, Gestational Hypertension, Pre-eclampsia, Eclampsia 3. Renal disease 4. Chronic Liver disease 5. Gout, Arthritis 6. Drugs known to cause increased Serum Uric Acid levels. eg: Aspirin, Phenothiazines, Diuretics, Anti- tubercular drugs like Ethambutol, Pyrazinamide, Niacin intake 7. History of Alcohol
