Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient written and informed consent 2. Age 18-65 years, of either gender 3. ASA Grade I, II & III 4. Scheduled for elective thoracotomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. Patients with coagulopathy 3. Local skin infection 4. Pre-existing neurological deficit 5. Allergy to Local anaesthetic 6. Pregnancy 7. Insufficient comprehension of QoR15 Questionnaire 8. Failure of blocks

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.To assess the post-operative recovery based on QoR-15 questionnaire at 24hrs.Timepoint: 24hrs post operative period

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To assess the postoperative analgesic efficacy of both the blocks. Timepoint: 0-hour,1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours post extubation.;2. To compare the intraoperative haemodynamic stability of ESPB over TEATimepoint: Pre-operative 0 hour 1 hour 2 hours 4 hours intraoperative period;3. Incidence of adverse effects in either groupTimepoint: Any time point within 24 hours of postoperative period
