Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA Physical status II parturients 2.Parturients undergoing elective lower segment caesarean section under subarachnoid blockade

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal or unable to give written informed consent. E.g.: psychiatric patients 2.Patients with known allergy to study drugs 3.Pre-operative use of study drugs 4.Administration of opioids / vasodilator drugs 5.Intraoperative blood transfusion 6.Preoperative shivering / temperature >=37.2°C or 7.Parkinsonâ??s disease or any other extrapyramidal disease
