Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus 2. Patients undergoing general anaesthesia 3. ASA physical status 2,3,4 4. Patients willing to give informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. Paediatric patients 3. Uncooperative patients 4. Patients with GCS less than 15 5. Obstetric patients 6. Patients undergoing regional anesthesia
