Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients presenting with symptoms of cholelithiasis like pain in upper and right quadrant of abdomen , referring pain to the inferior angle of right scapula , vomiting , nausea , flatulent dyspepsia and patients who are diagnosed to have gallstones, detected accidentally by x-ray or USG of abdomen.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with features of obstructive jaundice, liver failure, acute pancreatitis, acute obstructive cholecystitis and carcinoma of bladder. 2)uncontrolled systemic disorders like DM, HTN 3)subjects with congenital anomalies of hepatobiliary system.
