Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age > 18 years 2.Patients diagnosed with acute pancreatitis (according to Revised Atlanta classification 2012). 3.Mild to moderate acute pancreatitis (BISAP score <2)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy, Breastfeeding 2. Poor appetite for reasons other than AP such as depression, oral ulcers etc. 3. Abdominal pain lasting >72 hours before admission 4. Carcinoma of pancreas 5. Aetiology of AP such as Post surgery/ERCP/Trauma 6. Known or suspected case of chronic pancreatitis 7. Severe/critical AP on admission
