Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age greater than or equal to 18 y and 2. Scheduled for elective surgery. 3. All onco-surgical patients, whose mother tongue is Bengali and Hindi respectively

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients not fluent in Bengali and Hindi respectively 2. Inability to obtain consent. 3. Patients with a psychiatric condition or cognitive impairment. 4. Emergency surgery. 5. With a known history of substance abuse. Any severe pre-existing medical conditions that limited objective assessment after the operation. 6. Patients not expected to be able to answer the QoR-15 scale on Post- operative period. (e.g. expected postoperative mechanical ventilation, life-threatening postoperative complications)
