Intervention1: bifidobacterium animalis sub species lactis gel: probiotic gel to be placed into periodontal pocket as local drug delivery agent once at baseline during the trial Control Intervention1:

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with at least 20 teeth present. Patients with stage II, III periodontitis according to 2017 world workshop on periodontal and peri-implant diseases and conditions. Teeth with bleeding on probing present and with probing pocket depth of 5mm â?? 7mm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medically compromised patients Patients with history of antibiotic intake in the past 1 month. Patients who underwent periodontal surgery in the past one year. Smokers • Pregnant and lactating women • Patients allergic to tetracycline.
