Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Caregivers of persons living with dementia who spend at least 4 hours of caregiving per day in the past 1 year. The caregiver has access to internet, has basic knowledge to navigate through android or iPhone interface. The caregiver must be able to converse in at least on the following languages: English, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those caregivers whose family member with Dementia lives in a long-term care facility at least 3 months at the time of recruitment to the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
"Quality of Life" (WHO-QOL-BREF, WHOQOL Group, 1994)Timepoint: Baseline, 4 weeks, and 12 weeks respectively.

Secondary

Improvement in scores of WHOQOL BREF and Revised Scale for Caregiving Self-Efficacy (Steffen, McKibbin, Zeiss, Gallagher- Thompson & Bandura, 2002) Decreased scores in Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale â?? 21 (DASS- 21) (Lovibond & Lovibond, 1995) and Zarit Burden Interview (Zarit, Reever & Bach-Peterson, 1980)Timepoint: Baseline, post test after 1 month of intervention and follow up after 3 months.
