Intervention1: dexmedetomidine infusion: Dexmedetomidine infusion 10mcg/kg in 50ml Ns started 10min before induction of at the rate of 50ml/hr till the end of surgery .Any event of hypotension managed

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient posted for laproscopic cholecystectomy under general anesthesia. ASA physical status grade 2to3. Those patient who are willing to give consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pt. with cvs,respiratory,renal,hepatic and neurological disease. Morbid obese patient. Pregnant and breast feeding female. Prolonged procedure more than 60 minutes. Anticipated difficult intubation. Patient on antihypertensive,antipsychotic,analgesic,corticosteroid and sedative medication. Patient not willing to take part in surgery.

Measurement of intraoperative blood glucose level.Timepoint: 24 hour postoperatively

MeasureTime frame
1.To compare mean arterial blood pressure between two group. 2.to compare heart rate between two group. 3.to compare postoperative analgesia and analgesic requirement. 4.to compare postoperative sedation between two groups.Timepoint: 24 hour postoperatively.
