Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 2-59 months presenting with acute diarrhoea with wasting Acute diarrhoea being defined as per WHO as three or more than three loose stools with recent change in consistency in past 24 hours. Wasting being defined as weight for length/height
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children who have received IV hydration outside before presenting Children with diarrhoea with known chronic illness like chronic liver disease or chronic kidney disease Children presenting with shock /life threatening conditions
