Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who fulfill the criteria of case definition will be considered in the study. 2.Patient have to be between 18-35 years of age. 3.Patient irrespective of any gender. 4.Patient who can provide the consent form. 5.Patient opting only homeopathic treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients suffering from life threatening diseases and those who need emergency medical interventions. 2.Pregnant, or who fell pregnant during the study and lactating patients are to be excluded. 3.Patient who cannot provide consent form. 4.Patients having moderate, moderately severe or severe depressive disorder are to be excluded. 5.Patients who have participated in any other Research study in the last 6 months.

To study the significance of constitutional treatment in the patients of Minor Depressive Disorder.Timepoint: 4 WEEKS

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.To determine the effectiveness of constitutional remedies in the management of Minor Depressive Disorder in young age , in terms of the severity of depression, by use of Patient Health Questionnaire(PHQ-9) scale. 2.To review the homoeopathic literature ‘Constitutional Medicine’ with respect to Minor Depressive Disorder.Timepoint: All patients will be duly followed and details of the symptomatic, clinical changes will be studied. Duration of follow up will be different from patient to patient as per the requirement. First follow up will be taken after 15 days of first visit to monitor the patient, then depending on the case assessment further follow up will be taken either weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
