Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients above 12 years Patients newly diagnosed with Alopecia Areata Patients who have not received any treatment for alopecia areata in the past Patients willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients on thyroxine supplementation or on anti thyroid drugs Patients with other systemic illness

To determine the frequency of thyroid disorders in alopecia areata patients and Dermoscopic findings in alopecia areata patients attending dermatology OPD at Father Muller Medical College. Also find any difference in dermoscopic features in alopecia areata with thyroid dysfunctionTimepoint: 18 Months
