Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with maxillofacial trauma involving the maxillary sinus wall region who report within one month of the trauma. 2.Patients who will be managed surgically 3.Patientâ??s age between 18-65 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with associated pathologies like cysts or tumors of the jaw bones. 2. Patients who are not willing for follow-up for a period of 3 months 3. Patients with pre-existing sinusitis, deviated septum and pathologies associated with maxillary sinus

a.Facial pain and headache b.Nasal Discharge c.Post nasal Drip leading to nocturnal coughTimepoint: 1 month and 3 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Nasal congestion Need for further management. Need for medications postoperatively â?? antibiotics, decongestants, analgesics and anti-inflammatory, steroidal nasal spray.Timepoint: 1 month and 3 months.
