Intervention1: Belly dance training and Nutrition education: Three sessions of belly dance training classes are taken in every week for two months. Control Intervention1: NIL: NIL

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All WGSHA College students who are not undergoing any other physical activity regimen and who gave their consent to participate in the study will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All students outside of WGSHA and those WGSHA students who are doing some other physical activities such as Gymming, cycling, dance, swimming etc or who had a physical injury such as shin splints, plantar fasciitis, strain, sprain, ACL injury, sciatica tennis elbow, fractures will be excluded from the study

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.Changes in the anthropometric profile such as reduction in the body weight, abdominal fat, waist circumference, hip circumference, improved pelvic circulation, stronger core and thigh muscles. 2. Enhancing the mood and boosting the sense of happiness by reducing symptoms of anxiety and stress through belly dance. 3.Promoting the desire and ability to become physically active. 4. Improvement in food choices as a result of nutrition education.Timepoint: Day 0, 4th week, 8th week

Secondary
