Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Self-reported patients who are on medication. 2.Diagnosed hypertensive patients having prescription for >=1 antihypertensive medication. 3.People who owned a mobile phone with access to SMS text messaging. 4.People who can read and comprehend the messages either in English or Hindi. 5.People who are willing to participate in the study. 6.Residents of > 6 months living in the area.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.People with Psychiatric disorder.

Antihypertensive drug adherence will be assessed after the Intervention.Timepoint: Assessment will be done 4 months after Intervention and 6 months after Intervention.
