Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1Ready to give informed written consent for the enrolment into the study. 2Between 8-18 years of age. 3Undergoing elective surgery at the Superspeciality Paediatric hospital and Postgraduate teaching institute, Noida 4Willing to answer study related questionnaires to the researcher 5Willing for follow up till 3 months after the intervention

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of or current neurological or psychiatric impairment, or cognitive dysfunction that could compromise data collection. 2.Severe respiratory or cardiac compromise. 3.Severely deranged renal or hepatic function or active infection 4.Any other medical condition (e.g., uncontrolled bleeding or bleeding diathesis) that, in the judgement of the investigator, would confound with the objectives of study. 5.Subjects who confused spirituality with religion will be excluded from the study. 6.Children, who will become critical after surgery and are not compliant with the study procedure , will be excluded as well. 7.Those children who are unable to come for follow up for one month will also be excluded from the study.

2. To Evaluate the effect of Teaching and training of RajYoga medication on the recoveryand healing of the children 3. To correlate the stress of surgery and post operative recovery with blood Cortisol andblood sugar Timepoint: 6 months
