Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with ACLF identified by APASL criteria.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Absence of clinical ascites 2. Patients currently being treated with terlipressin 3. Patients with active untreated sepsis 4. Patients with shock requiring vasopressor support. 5. Presence of hepatocellular carcinoma or portal vein thrombosis, Budd Chiari syndrome. 6. Pregnancy 7. Patients with hypertension (BP >160/90 mmHg) 8. Refusal to participate
