Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For Cases- patients with bladder mass about to undergo TURBT as per the standard treatment protocol for presumed urothelial cancer For controlsâ?? age and gender matched healthy volunteers with no personal or family history of bladder cancer. Not having any symptoms or signs suggestive of malignancy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with catheter in situ. Patients who are currently undergoing radiation therapy. Patient with no bladder (due to surgical removal). Patients unable or unwilling to provide consent. Patients finally diagnosed with non urothelial bladder cancer.

MeasureTime frame
â?¢Validate the accuracy of this novel biomarker â?¢Standardize the testing protocol for K 17 by our more cost effective approach using conventional laboratory equipment. This will provide reference standard for future widespread adaption.Timepoint: Baseline and first followup at 3 months or early.
