Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing nasal surgeries American society of anaesthesiologist physical status 1 and 2 Educational background and mental status sufficient to be able to fill out the scales intended for assessment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cardiac and renal dysfunction psychiatric and neurological disorders neuromuscular disorders pregnancy known allergy to magnesium compounds patients on calcium channel blockers profound pre-operative hypotension
