Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of ADHD as per DSM 5 2. Children between 6- 12 years 3. any gender 4. children with insufficient levels of vitamin D ( >5ng/ml and 5. drug naive patients/ not on ADHD medications for 3 months 6. parents not enrolled in psychoeducation group
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with history of other comorbid neurodevelopment disorder, specific learning disorders and any other psychiatric comorbidity like oppositional defiant disorder, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, drug abuse, psychotic disorder, mood disorders 2. Children with history of head trauma, encephalitis, meningitis in the past 12 months, neurological diseases like epilepsy, stroke, encephalopathy 3. Children with any chronic medical conditions such as severe malnourishment, diabetes mellitus, or on medications for the same. 4. Children with severe Vitamin D deficiency ( 5. History of toxicity with vitamin D ( >100ng/ml) 6. Use of Vitamin D in the past 3 months
