Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consenting patients belonging to ASA grade I or II, between 18-65 years of age, and height 150-180 cm, about to undergo inguinal hernia surgery under sub arachnoid block

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with contraindication to subarachnoid block: infection at injection site, coagulopathy, space-occupying lesion, increased intracranial tension, k/c/o seizure disorder, pre-existing neurological deficit and spine deformity 2. History of allergy to any drug used in the study 3. Known case of hepatic and renel disease 4. Drug addicts and chronic alcoholics 5. Patients who are on anti-arrhythmic drugs
