Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who had fulfilled the revised criteria for Rheumatoid Arthritis fixed by American college of Rheumatology 2010 2.Patients of RA Factor positive and RA Factor negative 3. Patients who are eligible for Svedana and Vasti karma 4.Patients who are having Grade-0 to Grade-3 radiaological changes according to Larsen grading system for Rheumatoid Arthrirtis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Chronicity more than 10 years 2.Patients who are suffering with systemic diseases like Uncontrolled Diabetes, Hypertension, Tuberculosis 3.Patients with malignancy and HIV 4.Excluded in Pregnancy and lactating mother 5.Patients who are having Grade-4 and Grade-5 radiological changes according to Larsen system of grading for Rheumatoid arthritis 6.Patients who are not eligible for Svedana and Vasti karma.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Average change from baseline in following parameters: 1.pain and morning stiffness which interrupts their daily activities. 2.Reduction in number of joints having pain.Timepoint: Assessment done on basis line visit (day 0), and after 4 weeks of treatment.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To improve the quality of lifeTimepoint: Assessment done on base line and after 8 weeks of treatment.
