Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of SSD (based on DSM V) Age range -3 to 10 years Native language - Kannada Children with normal hearing Expressive language age of minimum 3-4 years (based on Assessment of Language Development, Lakhna, Venkatesh, & Bhat, 2009) Children diagnosed with and without language disorder

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cognitive age of less than 3 years (as per 3D LAT, Herlekar & Karanth-1994) Moderate- severe behavioural problems Recent episode of otitis media
