Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. ICD-10/DSM-V diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder 2. Non-medicated or takes medication regularly for at least 3 months prior the intervention (i.e., no changes in medication in the preceding 3 months) 3. Willingness to participate in AAT
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Fear/phobia of dogs 2. Allergies to dogs 3. History of cruelty to animals 4. Religious concerns about working with animals
