Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA class 1 (a normal healthy patient fit, non-obese, non-smoking) 2. Permanent mandibular molars of both right and left quadrant. 3. Teeth with clinical diagnosis of symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. 4. Patients who had not taken any analgesics at least a day before the root canal procedure.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Any teeth with diagnosis of pulpal necrosis 2. Teeth which are diagnosed with periodontal problems 3. Teeth which were previously treated with root canal procedure 4. Patients who cannot tolerate or who are allergic to ibuprofen and etoricoxib 5. Patients with pre-existing systemic conditions.
