Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients requiring fixed appliance therapy 2. Permanent dentition 3. Intact labial or buccal tooth surface

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Presence of labial or buccal restorations • Occlusal interferences and deep bite • Surgically exposed teeth • Partially erupted teeth • Enamel hypoplasia and congenital enamel defects

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Bracket Survival Rate for 6 months period after bonding. The no. of brackets debonded and those belonging to which group during this 6 months will be noted.Timepoint: 6 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
No. of brackets debonded in each group to be found either through phone calls or by regular follow up every 3-4 weeks for 6 monthsTimepoint: Patients reviewed every 3-4 weeks for 6 months
