Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All TB patients registered for treatment under TU Mendhasal and TU Tangi and aged >= 18 years under NTEP (National Tuberculosis Elimination programme).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. MDR (Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis) and XDR (Extensively Drug Resistance Tuberculosis) 2. Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis 3. Terminally ill patient. 4. Patients who are unable to understand the intervention. 5. Patients with conditions requiring specific dietary advice like Diabetes and CKD(Chronic Kidney Disease).
