Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women at 8-14 weeks of period of gestation with singleton pregnancy who gave the consent for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patients with the following conditions would not be considered for the study 1. Overt diabetes mellitus. 2. Women with severe anaemia. 3. Women with chronic blood disorders. 4. Pregnant women with chronic renal disease. 5. Obese pregnant woman. 6. Pregnant already diagnosed with PCOD.

There is limited research on HbA1c measured in first trimester and its relation with GDM. Therefore, we aim to assess the association of HbA1c in first trimester with GDM.Timepoint: 28 weeks of pregnancy
