Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ï?± Patients meeting diagnostic criteria of Schizophrenia according to ICD 11. ï?± Patients of age 18 or above ï?± Patients on nicotine and caffeine. ï?± On stable antipsychotic dose for more than 2 weeks. ï?± Patients/legally acceptable representatives willing to give written informed consent for participating in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ï?± Symptoms are a manifestation of another health condition(eg organic like brain tumour) ï?± Symptoms are a manifestation of drug intoxication or withdrawal including Substance Dependence (eg alcohol) (Nicotine and caffeine users included in the study) ï?± Pregnancy and postpartum period. ï?± Patients on clozapine. ï?± Patients on any other class of drugs except Benzodiazepines and antiparkinsonian drugs.
