Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 - 50 years,Requiring mandibular posterior tooth extraction followed by tooth replacement,Willing to comply with the study related procedures,Systemically healthy patients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smokers,Pregnant and lactating women,Presence of severe infection (large periapical cyst in tooth to be extracted or severe inflammation in the intervention zone),Immunosuppression ( eg. HIV, organ transplant),Past H/O Radiotherapy,Chronic drug abuse or alcoholic habits,Previous history of bone graft/ periodontal therapy in the intervention zone. Inability to give informed consent

MeasureTime frame
To assess the radiodensity of the grafted site (HU) in Pre and post 180 days CBCTTimepoint: 180 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the width of socket using boleyâ??s gauge with stent. CBCT evaluation of socket width at baseline and after 6 months. CBCT evaluation of socket height at baseline and after 6 months. Timepoint: 180 days
