Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiology physical status 1and 2 undergoing elective TURP surgery under spinal anaesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients refusal to participate in the study Patients with atrioventricular block, cardiac arrhythmias ,renal failure, uncontrolled hypertension, ischaemic heart disease,cardiac failure. Any contraindications to neuraxial anaesthesia. Documented allergy to drugs. Failed spinal anaesthesia.
