Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with Traumatic Brain Injury directly admitted to Neuro-intensive care unit (NICU) within 24 hour of injury. 2.Glasgow Coma Score less than or equals to 12.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with pre-existing lung injuries like Rib fractures with contusion. 2.Patients with initial ABG (done within 6 hours of ICU admission) showing PaO2/FiO2 3.History of pre-existing cardiac disease. 4.Patient relatives refusal to provide informed consent
