Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy patients needing orthodontic treatment and requiring permanent first maxillary premolars extractions as a part of orthodontic treatment were included in our study. Patients with healthy periodontal condition, having GI score <1, without any pockets, generalized depth of probing <=n3mm, with no radiographic signs of bone loss were included in our study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients taking various anti-inflammatory drugs, also patients with local and general systemic conditions which could influence the levels of biomarkers.

1.To evaluate and compare the effects of both the vibrational frequencies (125Hz and 150Hz) on the rate of orthodontic tooth movement. 2.To evaluate and compare the effects of both the vibrational frequencies (125Hz and 150Hz) on the changes in the levels of PGE2 in the gingival crevicular fluid. 3.To evaluate and compare the effects of both the vibrational frequencies (125Hz and 150Hz) on the rate of orthodontically induced root resorption. Timepoint: 30 days, 60 days and 90 days over a period of 4 years
