Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: admitted to Trauma Intensive Care Unit with a history of fever associated with tachycardia, hypotension, and low urine output. OR Fever with purulent sputum, breathing difficulty with physical findings suggestive of consolidation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Failure to collect/send culture, patient or relative of patient refusal for culture
