Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are giving written informed consent. Patients of either sex within the age of 18-55 years. Clinically diagnosed cases of Gridhrasi (sciatica). Patient testing positive (=70 degrees) for Straight Leg Raising (SLR)/ Lasegue’s sign Patients with a pain level of = 4 on a scale of 0-10 (VAS)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Known case of T.B or Neoplasm of spine & hip joint. 2.Ankylosing spondylosis or Fractures or secondary to fractures 3.Deformities and congenital defects of the spine and hip joints. 4.Patients with neurological deficits like sensory loss, foot drop, limb muscle wasting, and bowel/bladder incontinence 5.Patients with uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus and (or) diagnosed with complications of Diabetes Mellitus viz., neuropathy, nephropathy, retinopathy, etc. 6.Patients who have a known history of severe cardiovascular diseases. 7.Patients with concurrent serious Hepatic Dysfunction Renal Dysfunction or uncontrolled Pulmonary Dysfunction (asthmatic and COPD patients) or other concurrent severe diseases. 8.Non-ambulatory patients of Monoplegia / Paraplegia/hemiplegia. 9.Pregnant / Lactating women. 10.Patients with evidence of malignancy 11.During the phase of Menstruation.
