Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess incidence of acute pulmonary complications in isolated Traumatic Brain Injury patientsTimepoint: On admission to ICU, all patients on support of mechanical ventilation for more than 24 hours after admission will be screened with arterial blood gas analysis, lung ultrasound and chest radiograph

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the clinical outcome of TBI patients based on: length of ICU stay, duration of mechanical ventilation and, morbidity and mortality at the time of discharge.Timepoint: On admission to ICU, all patients on support of mechanical ventilation for more than 24 hours after admission will be screened with arterial blood gas analysis, lung ultrasound and chest radiograph
