Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children in the age group of 2-15 years, belonging to ASA physical status I or II, with English or Hindi speaking parents, who are posted for ambulatory surgery of at least 30 minutes duration (hernia, orchidopexy, orthopedics cases etc) will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with developmental delay or neurocognitive disorders, and with parents not having access to any phone will be excluded from the study.
