Interventions

Intervention1: Administration of Low Molecular Weight Heparin(Enoxaparin): Intervention arm patients receive LMWH, 1mg/ kg body weight, subcutaneous BD for 7 days in addition to standard treatment. C

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients >18 years diagnosed with acute moderate and severe pancreatitis as per the revised Atlanta classification.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Duration of symptoms for more than 7 days. -Hypersensitivity to LMWH or radiocontrast agents -Pregnant or breastfeeding -Patients in coagulopathy (INR) -patients with Chronic liver disease (USG Liver) - Patients with thrombocytopenia (BT/CT) -Patients with diabetic nephropathy (Urine PCR) -Patients on ACE inhibitors/aldosterone receptor antagonists -Diagnosed with hemorrhagic pancreatitis/pseudoaneurysm in imaging
