Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Patients undergoing cataract surgery i.e., phacoemulsification

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients, who were not willing to participate or sign the consent form were excluded from the study also those who wanted to undergo surgery under peribulbar block.

MeasureTime frame
To see efficacy of Subconjunctival lignocaine plus adrenaline versus topical anesthesia for phacoemulsification. It will be done by comparing the patient-reported pain intensity using visual analog scale (VAS) for pain of two types of anesthesia. Timepoint: To see efficacy of Subconjunctival lignocaine plus adrenaline versus topical anesthesia for phacoemulsification. It will be done by comparing the patient-reported pain intensity using visual analog scale (VAS) for pain of two types of anesthesia on day 0 soon after surgery.
