Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA I and II patients of either sex. 2.Patients aged between 18 to 70 years 3. Patients undergoing elective open or laparoscopic abdominal surgeries.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ASA 3 and ASA 4 patients. 2. Pregnant and lactating women, patients with epilepsy and mentally unstable patients. 3. Patientâ??s refusal. 4. Patients diagnosed to have neurological diseases.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate safety and comfort of different extubation positions.Timepoint: 0, 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in hemodynamic, respiratory parameters and side effects if any.Timepoint: 0, 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes.
