Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cases- Inclusion criteria 1. Physician and radiologically diagnosed (HRCT) ILD 2. Both genders between 50-70 years 3. Clinically stable 4. Independently ambulant with or without assistive aids Controls- Inclusion criteria 1. Healthy individuals (self-reported as absence of any comorbidities/ disorder/ pain), who were patient care takers and people who came to hospital for a general check up 2. Age group (18-80 years) and gender matched with case

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cases- Exclusion criteria 1. Recent MI; unstable angina; acute pulmonary oedema; acute myocarditis or pericarditis; severe cardiac rhythm disorders; non-ambulatory rheumatic disease; severe pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH) 2. Acute exacerbation of ILD (mMRC grade 4) 3. Unable to ambulate 4. Unable to follow written & verbal commands Controls- Exclusion criteria 1. Subjects with known history of any systemic disease
