Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Completely edentulous arch or non-restorable remaining teeth. 2. No acute infection is present. 3. Without any history of temporomandibular joint disorders, psychiatric disorders or neurophysiology modifying medication. 4. Patient’s cooperation, motivation and good oral hygiene 5. Informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Uncontrolled systemic disorders 2. Patients with a smoking habit and a history of alcoholism 3. Bruxism and any other parafunctional habits like clenching, tongue thrusting, etc. 4. Active chemotherapy or active radiotherapy 5. Use of medications with known neuromotor effects, e.g., neuroleptics or antidepressants.
