Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients undergoing Double J stenting after elective urological interventions in department of Urology, CH (SC), with no bacterial growth on preoperative urine culture

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a Positive Urine Culture for Bacteria. 2. Patients allergic to particular antibiotic (GENTAMICIN) 3. Patients undergoing DJ Stenting in emergency setting

after removal of the DJ Stent the tip will be sent for culture and bacterial Colonisation of the double j stent will be evaluated. and the result will be compared between DJ Stents with or without gentamicin wash absence or presence of Urinary tract infection will also be observed in both the groupsTimepoint: 4 weeks—
